Kala Kumar  
M.A in Fine Arts

Kala Kumar is an artist/teacher living in Southern New Hampshire. She has a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She teaches art to children and adults. Art and working with children is her passion. She helps children bring out their imagination and creativity through art.

As an artist, Kala works with both 2D and 3D art. She does abstract as well as realistic paintings. Painting in black and white with a splash of color would be her style! She mostly paints in oils and acrylics. Her paintings are generally large in size.  She uses brush and palette knife for painting.

Kala believes Art plays a big role in the community. It brings people together. She does organized paint nights, workshops and art fundraisers. She also participates as a judge for art competitions.

Kala’s work is constantly displayed at many galleries in the area. She is a member of the Area Artists Association and exhibits her paintings at the Art Hub, Public Libraries, and Art Shows and also at the City Hall Mayor’s Office.
